Antique Bed Warmer - copper rustic style , handcraft vintage

The bed warmer (in italian scaldaletto or scaldino) was a tool that was used to warm the blankets at bedtime. It consists of a copper container which was usually filled with embers taken from the fireplace. It was used in rural homes or poor families, until the sixties, seventies of the past century.

This item has been fully restored to its former beauty. The handle is made of iron that was also hand beaten and the lid is finely carved with a particular decoration.

An ancient made in Italy object, very special for lovers of antiques.
